Department of Revenue Files Monthly Accounting of the People’s Tribute Collections for February 2026
The Department of Revenue has submitted Report SD.3867 to the People’s Legislature — its February 2026 monthly report on year-to-date net state tax revenue for the current fiscal year, filed pursuant to Section 5 of Chapter 62F of the General Laws.
The report is a routine instrument of fiscal accountability, requiring the revenue apparatus to disclose how much the Commonwealth Soviet has extracted from the productive classes versus what was projected. No commissar sponsored it. The Department of Revenue filed it. The Senate placed it on file April 27, 2026. This is the system working as designed.
No one benefits. No one pays. The Central Committee simply requires that someone, periodically, count the rubles and report back. Chapter 62F — the same statute voters used in 2022 to briefly claw back surplus collections — mandates this disclosure monthly, whether or not anyone reads it.
