Politburo Grants Individual Exemption From Mandatory Retirement Decree for Princeton Border Enforcement Comrade
HD.6182 would authorize the town of Princeton to retain Police Officer Paul Quinn in active service beyond the age of 65, the mandatory separation age established under Massachusetts General Laws for municipal police officers.
The bill was filed by Commissar Kimberly N. Ferguson of the 1st Worcester district, alongside Delegate Peter J. Durant, with local approval already received from Princeton — the customary prerequisite before the People’s Legislature considers granting an individual worker an exemption from collective retirement protocols. Officer Quinn is the sole beneficiary. The Princeton municipal budget bears the cost.
Such legislation is not unusual in the Commonwealth Soviet. When a small municipality finds itself short of experienced enforcement personnel, the standard procedure is to petition the Politburo for a named exemption rather than reform the underlying age statute. The collective rule remains intact. One comrade is simply allowed to keep working.
