Senate Ways and Means Submits FY2026 Collective Resource Allocation Plan Totaling $61.3 Billion

The Senate Subcommittee on Ways and Means has issued S.3, the Commonwealth Soviet’s fiscal year 2026 general appropriations decree, authorizing $61,327,676,291 in collective expenditures to sustain the operations of all state departments, commissions, institutions, and debt obligations through June 30, 2026.

Reported from committee on May 8, 2025, and brought before the full Politburo on May 20, S.3 absorbed over 500 proposed amendments during floor debate — the majority bundled into bloc votes, with dozens rejected in a single motion. Among the individually contested provisions: amendments by Commissar Moore were twice rejected, while proposals by Commissars Miranda, Gómez, Rausch, and Friedman were adopted. The People’s Legislature thus demonstrated its characteristic efficiency in the processing of dissent.

The $61.3 billion allocation funds every branch of the People’s administrative apparatus — from the Bureau of Public Safety to the Ministry of Transportation and Housing — along with interest payments on the Commonwealth’s serial bond obligations. The Senate’s recommended text replaced the House’s prior draft (H.4001) in its entirety, a procedural maneuver the Central Committee describes, without apparent irony, as a routine amendment.

Decree Rating: ☭☭☭☭☭ — The largest annual decree the Commonwealth issues; resistance is not only futile but procedurally out of order.
